- Major gateway for trans-Pacific flights to Asia and Oceania
Terminal Access Note
LAX terminals are NOT all connected airside. You must use the Automated People Mover (APM) or shuttle buses to travel between some terminals. Airside connectors exist between Terminals 4-5, 5-6, 6-7, and 7-8. The Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) connects airside to Terminals 4 and 5. Terminals 1, 2, and 3 are isolated and require exiting security to reach other terminals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I walk between terminals airside at LAX?
Some terminals are connected airside post-security. TBIT connects to Terminals 4 and 5, and Terminals 4 through 8 have airside connectors between adjacent terminals. Terminals 1, 2, and 3 are not connected airside to other terminals, so you would need to exit security and use the APM or shuttle.
What is the best lounge at LAX for Priority Pass holders?
Priority Pass holders can access several restaurant-as-lounge options and The Club LAX. For the best experience, check which terminal you are flying from and look for credit-card-linked lounge options nearby.
Which credit cards get you into the most lounges at LAX?
The Amex Platinum card provides access to the Centurion Lounge in TBIT, Delta Sky Clubs (when flying Delta), and Priority Pass lounges. The Chase Sapphire Reserve gives Priority Pass access to The Club LAX and several restaurant-as-lounge options.
