Frequently Asked Questions
Can I visit lounges in other terminals at EWR?
Not without re-clearing security. EWR's three terminals are not connected airside. Moving between them requires the AirTrain (landside), which means going through security again. Allow at least 30 minutes for an inter-terminal trip.
Which credit cards give lounge access at EWR?
The United Club Infinite Card provides access to all United Clubs. The Chase Sapphire Reserve and Amex Platinum include Priority Pass, which works at the Escape Lounge in Terminal B. The Amex Centurion is not applicable here as there is no Centurion Lounge at EWR.
How many United Clubs are at EWR?
There are three United Clubs at EWR in Terminal C (near Gates C74, C120, and C123). Terminal C also houses the United Polaris Lounge for international premium cabin passengers.
Is there a Priority Pass lounge at EWR?
Yes. The Escape Lounge in Terminal B accepts Priority Pass. It is the primary Priority Pass option at EWR.
What is the United Polaris Lounge?
The United Polaris Lounge is United's premium international business class lounge in Terminal C. It features a la carte dining, shower suites, quiet rest areas, and premium amenities. Access requires a same-day United Polaris (business class) ticket on an international or transcontinental flight.
