The Good
- Local Austin craft beers on tap including Live Oak and Austin Beerworks are a genuine treat
- Breakfast tacos in the morning are an authentic Austin experience you will not find at other Admirals Clubs
- Tarmac views from the window counter are excellent for plane spotting
The Bad
- No showers available, which is a drawback for travelers on connecting flights
- Smaller than the DFW Admirals Clubs with less seating overall
- Can get crowded during the early morning push as Austin tech workers fly out
Pro Tips
- The breakfast tacos are available from opening until about 9:00 AM and are made locally. They are the best breakfast item in any Austin airport lounge.
- Ask for Live Oak Hefeweizen on tap. It is brewed 15 minutes from the airport and is one of the best wheat beers in Texas. Not always listed on the menu board.
- The window counter seats on the far right side have power outlets and the best runway views. They fill up last because most people sit near the bar.
- If you are an early morning flyer, the 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM window is the quietest time. The big rush starts when the tech corridor flights begin at 7:00 AM.
