The Good

  • Large, recently renovated space with plenty of seating even during hub rushes
  • Shower facilities are well-maintained and a welcome amenity for connecting travelers
  • Staff keeps the buffet stocked throughout the day given the hub volume
  • Convenient location in the heart of American's Concourse B operations

The Bad

  • Morning rush hits hard since CLT is a massive connecting hub for American
  • Can feel crowded during bank departures despite the large footprint
  • Food quality is standard Admirals Club fare, nothing exceptional

Pro Tips

  • The morning bank of American flights creates a crush between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM. If you have a later departure, wait until after 9:00 AM for a much calmer experience.
  • Ask the bartender about which NC craft beers they have on rotation. NoDa Brewing and Birdsong occasionally show up on tap and are a real treat.
  • If both Admirals Clubs are busy, walk to the Concourse C location. Since all concourses connect, it takes about 5 minutes and may have more open seats.
  • The shower suites fill up fast during morning connections. Sign up the moment you walk in if you need one.
