The Good

  • Elegant British-style lounge with a calm, refined atmosphere
  • Shower facilities with premium Elemis products are excellent before overnight flights
  • Gin and tonic station is a unique touch you will not find in domestic lounges
  • Connected airside to Terminal 8, giving access to both terminals

The Bad

  • Space can feel cramped during the evening departure rush for London flights
  • Food quality is good but not exceptional compared to the Turkish Airlines Lounge
  • Terminal 7 itself is aging and scheduled for eventual replacement

Pro Tips

  • The gin and tonic station lets you mix your own G&T with premium Fever-Tree tonics and fresh garnishes. It is a perfect way to start a transatlantic trip.
  • Come in the morning for the quietest experience. Most BA departures are in the evening, so the lounge is nearly empty before noon.
  • You can access this lounge from Terminal 8 via the airside connector without leaving security. Useful if the Admirals Club is too crowded.
  • Ask about the afternoon tea service if you are visiting between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The scones with clotted cream are a genuine British experience.
